Finding Inner Support

Helps reduce inner tension, restore contact with yourself, and find stability in everyday life

Duration: 5 minLevel: Beginner
About the practice

Inner support does not always appear as strong confidence. It often begins as a quiet sense of presence and readiness to take the next step. This practice helps you notice that state without forcing yourself to believe or feel differently.

Main idea

The goal is not to manufacture belief, but to notice an inner state in which a person does not shrink before life and can sense the possibility of taking the next step.

Practice steps

  1. Pause

For a few seconds, stop the inner rush and allow thoughts to recede slightly. Do not fight or try to control them.

  2. Feel support

Bring attention to the body and simply notice: “I am here now. I exist now.” Recognize that life is already happening without your constant control.

  3. Ask yourself gently

Ask: “Is there even a minimal sense in me that I can manage the next step?” Do not look for the correct answer. Notice what arises: tension, neutrality, or a quiet sense of possibility.

  4. Let the state be

If you notice even a little inner space or calm, do not try to intensify or hold onto it. Stay with it for a few seconds.

  5. Let go

Do not try to preserve the state for long. It is enough to recognize it and remember that this way of experiencing exists. This gradually forms an inner support you can return to in moments of uncertainty.

If your condition worsens sharply during the practice, stop and seek professional support. This practice does not replace medical, psychological, psychiatric, or emergency care.
